The Best Days of Your Life - Derby Theatre commission. Winner, In Good Company Mid-Career Award.
This play explores disabled people's experience of the British school system across the years, and is being developed via workshop sessions with disabled and neurodivergent groups, home school groups, and community theatre groups.

 

Batman aka Naomi's Death Show - Chronic Insanity commission. Vault Festival/Nottingham Playhouse. Winner, Vault Origin Award.
An interactive show exploring death, the power of communal grieving, true crime, and the first person trauma industrial complex. And sharks.

 

Unicorn - Bush Theatre commission. Currently in development.
A young woman travels around her late mother's homeland, scattering her ashes and trying to discover who her mother was and why their relationship was so dysfunctional, only to be distracted by an enticing new relationship, having to ask herself: is this love, or just some fucked up misplaced grief thing?

 

Sketching - Wilton's Music Hall.
Collaboratively-written stage play written with eight other writers under head writer James Graham.

 

Puppy - Vault Festival/Women's International Playwriting Conference/TBA. Winner, Relish Theatre New Writing Award. Runner-up, Bread & Roses Award. This play is scheduled for production in early 2025.
Queer positive, sex positive lesbian romantic comedy about two women who meet and fall in love while dogging, found a feminist porn company together, but find their relationship tested by fame, and conflict with the government.

 

The Wild Tides of Clíodhna - Youth Theatre commission from Strange Days Theatre, which debuted at the Scottish Storytelling Centre.
A group of teenagers attending a youth summer camp on a tiny Scottish island must put aside their feuds and burgeoning romances when the island is hit with a string of mysterious murders, with possibly monstrous origin.

 

Mischpoche, or Ruth and Ethel - Graeae/TBA.
(This started as a  short play (written for Graeae), which received an off-Broadway run as part of SMASH Feminist Theater Festival, was later produced at a theatre in San Francisco as part of a reproduction rights fundraiser for ReproRights,did a mini-tour of Northeast USA and Eastern Canada, and also had various performances in London. I then extended it to full-length and retitled it to 'Mischpoche, or Ruth and Ethel'. The full-length version received an R&D rehearsed reading with Angel Theatre Company, and is currently in development for full production.)
Two elderly Jewish women living in a Trump-loving Florida retirement community plan their own two-person Women's March, but find their friendship tested. This comedy explores Jewish diaspora identity, contemporary American politics, and female friendship.

 

Brenschluss - Graeae Theatre Commission, Curve Theatre. Finalist, Theatre Uncut Political Playwriting Award.
Queer dystopian drama about a lesbian couple living in a future where language is strictly controlled according to a caste system, who make very different choices: one to marry a man for status and power, the other to become a freedom fighter.

 

Double Infeminity - Vault Festival. Co-written with Catherine O'Shea and Jennifer Cerys.
Feminist satire based on the 1940s crime noir genre.

 

Claustrophilia - Vault Festival/Southwark Playhouse.
Drama about a kidnap survivor.

 

Tortoise - New Wolsey Theatre/Cockpit Theatre/Criterion Theatre (Criterion New Writing Programme showcase). Shortlisted, Athena Award. Shortlisted, Leslie Scalapino Award for Innovative Women Performance Writers. Longlisted, Bruntwood Prize. Longlisted, Papatango Award.
Comedy drama about three very different women living in a secure NHS psychiatric unit who form a close friendship and wreak havoc in the hospital.

A Christmas Carol, Charles Dickens. Royal Shakespeare Company, Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Produced as part of the RSC Winter Stage Festival.

Ecclesiazusae, or Women in Power, Aristophanes. Commissioned by a Swedish drama school, but cancelled due to Covid.
